Pac Man, the famous arcade game developed by Namco, turns thrity today. The game was released today in Japan in 1980 and is considered by most a classic video game and 80's pop culture icon.Pac Man has appeared in more than 30 officially licensed game spin-offs including Mrs. Pac Man, as well as referenced in numerous media from cartoons such as Family Guy and music videos.
He even has his own song, "Pac Man Fever," which went to #9 on The Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1981.
